Speech therapy consultation

Our Approach

Speech therapy consultation

Our approach is holistic. This means collaborating with clients to understand the "whole-person." Together, we create a treatment plan that builds on each client's unique strengths and needs. Goals are individualized and meaningful to the individual or family, and reflect developmental milestones when appropriate.

Holistic also means meeting each client where they are at. We recognize that as humans, we engage and learn best when we are calm and happy.

These core skills (called Executive Functioning Skills) include the ability to regulate our nervous systems, focus/concentrate, remember information, process and communicate about our emotional states, and more.

Once we are regulated, we can interact with others in a meaningful way, and process / retain new information.

Our Connections
