Our goal is to provide you with a safe, calming and welcoming experience from start to finish.
At Exemplary Speech, you will find:
-a spacious and comfortable waiting room
-a range of age-appropriate toys and play area for clients and siblings
-private 1:1 therapy space with sensory-calming elements
Our approach is holistic. This means collaborating with families to understand the "whole-child." Together, we create a treatment plan that builds on each child's unique strengths and needs. Goals are individualized and meaningful to the family and reflect developmental milestones.
Holistic also means meeting each child where they are at. We recognize that kids learn best when they are calm and happy. We are skilled at teaching and guiding kids the core skills needed to learn.
These core skills are called Executive Functioning Skills and include the ability to regulate our nervous systems, focus/concentrate, remember information, process and communicate about our emotional states, and more!
Once children are regulated, they can connect to their own sense of motivation and take action toward their therapy goals.
Your child's treatment plan may also include recommendations and referrals.
We are proud to partner with the following community providers for referral and a collaborative approach:
